I generally do this design freehand by just painting in the round shapes
for the roses first and then painting in the leaves and this way each
placemat is different.
Of course I have included a pattern sheet for those who
are unsure of doing their own thing but I really recommend you try and you will be
surprised at how easy it is to do your own design. Once you have started you
will always prefer to do your own design rather than an exact copy. It will give you a real kick when people comment on the design and it is
your own.
If you are using the pattern sheet use a stylus and tracing paper to trace the design onto the base coated shapes. | |
