Using Whisper Green Background paint apply 2 coats of paint to the front and
back of the wooden pieces sanding between coats and wiping with tack cloth.
Apply the first coat lengthwise of the placemat and the second coat in the
opposite direction.
Now using the sponge very lightly sponge with Raw Sienna behind where the
design will be and then sponge a mix of the basecoat and Hookers Green
lightly over this (do not do this too heavily it is just very lightly
creating a background to the design - if you had applied it too heavily
place a little of the basecoat on the sponge and gently sponge over to
lighten). | |
