| | Introduction to Folk Art- Teacher Gwen Crichton
This introduction to folk art is held over two lessons and is designed for students who are unsure of whether they can paint. All paint, brushes etc. are provided and at the end of the second lesson you will have completed a Welcome plaque. If you wish you can then join the Basic Folk Art course.

| | Basic Folk Art - Teacher Gwen Crichton
This course is held over a ten week period during which time students are taught the basics of round and flat brush techniques. To start with you will learn how to form the basic strokes on paper and then by the second week you will be painting on wood. During the ten weeks students paint a welcome plaque, strawberries on a terra cotta pot, violets, teddy bears, roses. Australian wild flowers and folk art decoupage and lace.
The fee for this course is $18.00 weekly or if the student pays 5 weeks in advance the fees are reduced to $75.00. The fee covers your tuition only. | |
| | Advanced Folk Art - Teacher Gwen Crichton
Students who have completed a Basic Folk Art course can then progress to a variety of different styles including Landscape Painting, Still Life, Australian Birds & Animals, Faux Finishes, Trompe L'Oeil, Rosemaling, Bauernmalerei , Country / Naive, Pen & Wash, Christmas and Stenciling.
The fee for this course is $18.00 weekly or if the student pays 5 weeks in advance the fees are reduced to $75.00. The fee covers your tuition only. | |
| | Introduction to Paper Tole - Teacher Gwen Crichton
This is a one night class held over two and a half hours. All supplies are provided and at the end of the night students take home a completed picture of a design by Anton Piek.

Students who have completed the Introduction to Paper Tole class or who have previously done paper tole attend this class. This is an ongoing class as projects take varying lengths of time to complete.

| | Decoupage
This is a five week course held throughout the year on request. Students are taught the basic techniques and make a cheese board, plaque or place mat and coaster and proceed to decoupage a box.
The fees for the course are $75.00 plus supplies. | |
